I really appreciate it!
I had just heard of the death of Alan Jacobi, a self taught engineer who masterminded a host of spectacular events and shows.
One of the ones which really inspired me was “The Sultan’s Elephant”, a giant mechanical elephant of huge proportions which took up residence in central London for four days in 2006!
It’s worth taking a look at photos of the original!
There is a reconstruction in Nantes, now!
